PED certification, also known as Pressure Equipment Directive (PED,
97/23/EC) certification, is a mandatory certification requirement
for pressure equipment in Europe. Any equipment with a design
pressure exceeding 0.5 bar, regardless of its pressure or volume,
must comply with PED regulations.
A nitrogen generator, as a device for producing nitrogen, requires
PED certification if there is pressure equipment inside and the
design pressure exceeds 0.5 bar. This is mainly to ensure that the
design, manufacturing, and use of the nitrogen generator comply

verify and conduct on-site inspections on the equipment to confirm
